Sat at home peeing down with rain, dark and cold out nothing on TV wife and kids home sat here bored what can we do it's so boring right now..

I've often thought in thse moments For Gods sake theres nothing more I'd like to do right now than get some makeup on and a dress and wig etc and become Davina..

Bored of my male self bored in the moment and wanting that escape..

Stuck with the kids not knowing but it rang true with me that quote as i think we can sometimes get bored being manly and dressing manly.

Depressing isn't it. I do this a lot. I have my weekend activities to keep me going but since my daughter has gone.ro Uni and I've stopped taking her to Netball twice a week, I miss weekday evening activity. If I could dream up an excuse to go somewhere and be free to dress I definitely would.

I know a few families who all they have is their kids sport and think if they give up sport or can drive themselves what are they going to do with their lives.

I'm involved with sport a few times per week, takes up a lot of my time organising things but to to the extent that some take it who are fixated on their child "making it" at the expense of others but give nothing to the community and wider sport.

I have always been involved in sport played it across a few different sports to a good level and it was a way of getting some angst and aggression out when I was younger.. now I pass on what I learnt as a coach and no longer play competitive sports myself and my escapism would come as a shock to most harmless as it is.
