So I had the week of 5 times which was so relaxing and an experience of getting up and deciding how I wanted to present for 5 days in a row and chose to be Davina, the timing was perfect with my work diary and the kids in school the 5th day was a "what the hell" I've dressed all week let's go for it.
One result was it worried Esme that I did it 5 days in a row enjoyed it (Does he want to dress full time?) and was going for 6th day or rather Saturday afternoon, evening and night with the kinda out for the night and Esme out with her Sister and Mother time to really chill have some fun with makeup and different attire and looks and finally try my other wigs and styling them and have a chat to other t girls and wives and the youngest had a stomach bug so no 6th day in a row.
3 weeks passed I got dressed once but due to so much pressure in work decided to change back along with impromptu face to face video meetings..
I knew I was on a ticking time bomb to my oldest finishing school ahead of her exams and I had vowed to cram in Davina time alas I'm a workaholic and didn't make time which I know I'll regret .. Yesterday I contemplated dressing but needed time... shave, get my weekly report done and video meetings so didn't dress and a good job too as had no idea my oldest was finishing school early with a leavers assembly so of I had dressed she may have come home and I'd have not changed back yet .... Busted!!
So I no longer have working from home as an option to be Davina with her home and back and forth school revising and exams and then off all summer and then off to college in September a 5 min walk away..
Davina needs somewhere else to dress and time to chill as cross dressing escapism is helping control my mental health as I get older and my mental health isn't getting a by better.. In fact with age frustration with work and other things is rising and so are stress levels..
I'm sure I'm not alone with dressing restricted.. So frustrating.
Davina
I can sympathise also regards kids doing exams. My youngest sitting gcse's and oldest about to sit A levels. Not that I have any privacy/time to dress presently, but I'm sure if I didn't keep up with their exam schedules I reckon I could have been busted by now with surprise returns home due to study leave. Oh well got to treasure them while they're still at home. 😊🤔
And you may have dropped a dress size🤣
my daughter started her GCSEs this week too, so whilst it’s not helpful for you , I am in the same boat. not sure how I feel about it..been doing a lot more exercise to relieve stress which is helpful, and better for the waste line. So hopefully by the Autumn I’ll be slimmer. which can’t be bad.
if you find a solution please share it!!
The day finally came where my last outlet and opportubity has gone..
Your definitely not alone having your dressing restricted and it is so frustrating. Opportunities may come but its so frustrating not being able to plan things or just wake up and get dressed. I've been used to it.... Its hard but until things change....
