I saw that Davina was buying a new wig and Hannah was asking where he'd bought if from so it got me wondering what other 'additions' do you wives think are acceptable and which are a bridge too far?
The most obvious is breast forms. The come in all shapes, sizes and quality. Some CDs rely on water filled balloon whilst other will splash out (no pun intended) on the silicon versions.
The ones below are designed for the more 'mature' lady as they are designed with a slightly hanging shape and the nipples are set slightly lower. As Davina said CD is a big industry.
It reminds me of the card
Anyway I digress.
Hip pads are also popular. From the home made foam ones to the expensive, specially designed silicon versions.
They're all meant to enhance and give a more feminine figure.
Now in the raw they're none too sexy. But under clothes they can make a big difference in presentation, which at the end of the day is what drives alot of crossdressers.
If you add in shapewear then you can really transform your body.
Some of these enhancements are avaliabe to women. Enhancing your boobs, butt and waist seems main stream. But is it acceptable for your other half.
I can imaging that 4 pounds of silicon hitting the bedroom floor is none to attractive but would you still see through these extras or would it be a complete no no?
Katie
Isn't being a woman a bit like being a swan. Looking serene and beautiful on the surface but a whole lot frantically going on underneath. Everything I've mentioned is avalible in the woman's section so it's all tricks of the trade. Same as the make up, wigs etc.
I'm sure there are a few men who've had their illusions shattered in the past lol
Katie
Not for me imagine you get lucky take off your dress and you're wearing that lol
For ladies who want a bum like Beyonce

Em, those contraptions aren't designed for men!
I wouldn't wear one as nice lingerie is part of the deal.
Katie
Em id go for lacy black knickers and wear a dress that isn't fitting
Boobs are essential but id not go for bum and hip wear
My shape wear is to keep me in not out lol
Hannah (wife)
Omg would you wear that? Lol
Davina given the choice of that contraption or nice lingerie what would you go for? Lol
There are dress shapes which can hide the figure.
Emma (wife)
Hi Davina
I've got a question. You said you wouldn't wear hip/bum pads. Why?
You said you're top heavy, most men are as demonstarted in the before and after photos (the inverted triangle). To balance out the top half you need to increase the bottom half (increase the size around the hips and reduce the waist). You can do this by creating an illusion using clothes but it's dependent on your shape. Straight up and straight down might work but broad shoulders are hard to hide.
You're happy with fake boobs, wig, make up etc so why draw the line at hip/bum pads? The same really goes for the ladies who said it was a step too far. Is it too feminine?
They are expensive (silicone ones at least) and the ones designed for women always look a bit weired (bit like a darlek with all those lumps)!
Personally I can see the attraction and if I was going out or had the cash I might invest. I hate the extra material around my hips when I wear a dress or shirt. It's worse with a dress because I have to wear a bigger size (top heavey) than I would a skirt so it flaps around looking loose.
I don't notice my boobs once the silcone has warmed up so it must be the same for the hip pads.
Just a thought. We're all different.
Katie
or even worse it slips down inside your tights and looks like you have a huge swollen knee! The thought of 2lbs of silicon suddenly hitting the floor must be off putting. I know you can buy glues for the fake boobs so I guess you could use the same for the pads. Don't use glue myself as too much phaff for a couple of hours.
I see what you mean Katie but id not wear a tight skirt like that.
I think the dresses I wear are the right shape to hide lack of curvy hips but it does give a good effect.
Just imagining walking down the street and one side drops off lol
Davina
It's all to do with image. They make a difference if you want to pass but are bloody expensive!
I have shape wear to try to iron out the bumps for knows why you tgirls want to put bumps on but is suppose the fake boobs are necessary
Rebecca (wife)
Not for me in terms of sticking bits on other than the fake boobs but I like shape wear lingerie.
Inverted triangle it is can't help.my shoulders other than wearing black which is slimming And the right shape dress hoping my long legs would avert eyes from my shoulders Ha.
Davina
Hi Sindy
Why do we want curves? For the very reason that Davina put in the comment after the shapewear model!
Most men are inverted triangle so anything to balance that out works. Mainly a waist and hips. I know that women come in all shapes and sizes but the whole purpose of these enhancements (most of them are designed for women) is to give them that WOW factor. To make them feel feminine again and not such a lump. I think most men are programmed to go for the hour glass figure so if you've got curves you're on to a winner.
Crossdressing is about how it makes you feel. So anything that makes you feel better about yourself is a bonus.
Most women will identify with a body shape and dress and enhance themslevs to fit the 'ideal'. There's enough out there telling you what shape you are and what to wear or 'what not to wear' (who remembers Trinny and Suzannah? or Tranny as she was often called because of her straight up down figure).
Look on most crossdresser website and you'll find a variation of the above. If you want to be convincing (to yourself and the rest of the world) you need to get on the programme!
Katie
And that cartoon cracks me up, Katie. love it. lol
Be careful what you wish for! Thanks to birthing small humans, my boobs are over a D cup now (ugh!) and I'm all bloody hips and padding. Why on earth anyone would want all these damn curves is beyond me. I miss my sleek, less curvy teenage/twenties body when I felt less like a belly dancer and more like a race horse!
I don't know if my husband wears anything more than fake boobs (he has those) as I don't involve myself anymore, but I'd guess knowing him that he would do all the padding etc as he's OCD about perfecting things and why would crossdressing be any different. So I assume he wears the lot and yes, that's too far for me which is why I don't want to see him dressed. I didn't marry a woman so it always seems odd that he'd want me to see him looking like one, you know? The timeless conundrum of the crossdresser.
But I will admit I've been purchasing myself some shapewear that sort of sucks in all the curves and puts it back in the right places. But bloody hell, that just pushes the damn boobs and hips out towards the stratosphere and I feel like Kim Kardashian!! Not sure I'm enjoying that look but it does work well with jeans as gives me the flat tummy again. But a technician at the local medical clinic who talked directly to my boobs made me rethink the whole thing!
Sigh. Who's idea was it that I have kids and completely destroy my body shape?! I must go back in time, to my pre pregnancy skinny self, and slap some sense into her!
Mine are D cups and my wife's never weighed them lol
Davina
Wow she's hot love her shape ... wear how bloke of me
I got the boobs off another t girl lol weird meeting a bloke and exchanging tits hehe.
Told my wife I was meeting someone and he gave me a few pairs of new heels and a new wig too purging stuff.. brand new stuff.
The fake boobs definitely better than bags of rice or the foam balls I used to use.
But not gonna stick on a fake bum and hips.
A shoulder reduction is required my wife says my top heaviness spoils the illusion I suppose but all depends on you wear.
Davina
Hi Emma
Yeah. The boobs can be a bit of a honk honk moment!
To me shapewear is just the same as lingerie but it just smooths out the lumps and redistripute excess!
It definately helps if I'm wearing a skirt (creating a waist) and helps keep my tights up lol.
Katie
I bought him some silicone tits from EBay just helps with the illusion.
Lol first time he wore them I walked up and honked them and said how does that feel lol not nice us it haha
Not bought any other shape wear I dont think he needs it maybe a step too far.
In the right dress and jacket who can tell if he has man's or women's hips.
