I think ideally to keep them looking tidy we need wig stands but that means they're maybe easier to discover. I usually take mine off stuff paper inside the wig and curl the wig up and pop it back into a plastic sealabke bag. I've got a bobbed wig shoulder length that's perfect length a bit of curl just right and I've got some long wigs. I never know if to pull all the wig length over my shoulder or divide some back and some front. Easiest style is a bobbed style I think or shoulder length I've for a brunette I've only tried once, a red like Black Widow in the Marvel movies and a brown with blonde hilights and about 4 or 5 blonde wigs ... I'm blonde so blonde suits. Looking forward to opportunity to try on the other two wigs I bought and add some pins to style them a bit maybe. No idea when that will be.

Well, I've scoured You Tube and now I know more about wigs than I ever thought I would. I think I definitely need to work on my 'bangs' and try some minor surgery when I get the chance. Now I have had a chance to try all my wigs on, and use proper wig brushes and combs to try and untangle them and add some style, unfortunately the long red wig was far to tangled a mess for me to consider trying to sort it out 🥺. I think the red was far to deep a colour anyway and I'd prefer a colour with a little more brightness. The two Bob style wigs are OK and with a bit of tidying up are definitely acceptable for wearing inside when I get a chance. I like this style, it seems to frame my face well and hides some of the jaw line but can easily be flicked back to rest over one ear giving a.different look. The two blonde wigs I'm not so sure about. It turns out that they are both about as long as each other although one is a lot more curly than the other. I think I could pull off a blonde look but I'm not a fan of the longer length as they both drop several inches over my shoulders. It may be that if I decide to look for a blonde wig then I think I'll be looking for something that's no more than shoulder length. The brushes and combs definitely help but has anyone got any tips and tricks for keeping the style in place once they've been brushed? I believe I can't use normal hairspray but what's the difference between this and a wig specific product if I'm only going to be wearing a wig once in a blue moon?

I have 5 I think. The reddish bob fits great and doesn't need any work really. I've also a longer blonde one, short blonde one, a long curly red one (5 quid of FB Mkt) and a pink bob one. None cost more than 20 pounds if I'm honest so they will do for now. It's a bit like cars really, you have a standard Ford or Vauxhall etc that gets you from A to B but you fancy a prestige mark like and Audi or Mercedes or a supercar even though it dose the same job. I feel wigs are a bit like that in that the more expensive ones are more desirable because they are better quality and may last longer. I've just ordered some combs and brushes specifically for wigs from Amazon (Amazon lockers are great for incognito pickup 😂) so will have a style session at some point over the next week. I feel slightly guilty about the wigs that I have seen for sale as they are being sold by women who bought them to use whilst on Chemo (but didn't use them for other reasons) so they are high quality wigs. For me to consider buying them just to look better dressed tugs at my heartstrings somewhat considering the struggles those women must have been, or are going, through.

I've got about 5 or 6 wigs some need styling stone just on they go and they look great. I've only ever bought cheap wigs the most I've paid for one is £20 which was the wig Esme helped me pick off eBay or amazon one in the other. Long wavy blonde wig with a fringe. I've got a black one I need to try again some time for a different look needs a on or two to style it, I have a red one too but mine are mainly blonde. Of the 3 I bought from ewigs none of them particularly look like they do on the models in the photos a bit of a scam there. One is fab and my new fav wig that looks great on me and I'd probably wear in public but the other two need styling. I've tried them on once each and they need some pins and a bit of work I hope Esme can hello me with some time. Looking forward to the day when I can get all "Davinas" things down and have a good sort out try on and try different looks with different wigs. Davna

Wigs - I have a few that I have bought of Ebay or from''friendly' sellers on FB Marketplace. I have a reddish bob type wig on in the photo i uploaded in the grey embellished dress (Phoar - yes I know its not spelt correctly) that I paid about £20 for and I love the style and the way it frames my face. I know its cheap but I don't get to wear it often. I tried on the other wigs I have last week (long blonde and red ones and another couple of bob ones) but I have no styling tools so I'm sure they would look better once I gave them a comb etc. I feel myself leaning towards purchasing a few more as there are some REALLY expensive wigs for sale locally for what are really extremely good prices (though not cheap in themselves) which are of a style I like.

Question is, is it worth the investment to see if I could get one or two (and styling tools etc) over the cheap wigs I have> Would they be better quality, last longer and actually look better (seeing is believing as they say) given my limited experience?

It will have to be when we have time to dress a girls night or whatever and Esme can sort my wigs out maybe some clips of band or something or even a pony tail of bunches lol and ill do some pics

I've still only had opportunity to try the one wig out. I'd hoped a girls night in and to style the other wigs more maybe a hair clip and see what Esme could do with the other two Wigs. 2021 I guess..

Had opportunity to dress this week didnt take it as so many deadlines in work.. Cant even remember where i put the other wigs but yes do like the short bobbed one.

Maybe i'll grab a day next week working from home and see what the other wigs were like. I'll take some pics.

Still no sight of the other wigs then Davina are they that bad or have you settled on that bobbed blonde wig being the one you prefer?

Short ones OK bit thin on top if I wasn't blonde myself you'd see thru it.. Need to try the others again and see if me or rsme can style a bit with some pins.. See if possible to put more of a side orating like the website photo on the one wig. I don't recommend ewigs 😪

New wig suits you Davina but yes which one is it from the website photos oh dear we looked at the website and waited for your feedback as saw a few wig styles we liked we decided on 2 for him and 1 for me to change my look a bit if we were out together as girls so I'd look different but if they're no better than amazon or eBay wigs we won't bother.

Show us the other two only so we can see how they're nothing like the website photos.

You could always sell them on as brand new never used on EBay if no good to you and get some money back or try to contact ewigs and complain but they're american?

Worth a try as did look a good deal if they were like the photos on their site and the video on their site.
