Weekend in Blackpool

This coming Weekend will see my fourth night out and it'll be in not so sunny Blackpool!

I seem to have arranged quite a night out this coming weekend! I put a call out to see if a few girls wanted to meet up for a drink and a chat in Blackpool, well it seems to have grown a into a monster!! And there will be about 19 girls all meeting up for a weekend of drinking and just having a great time.

There's also another group of about 15 girls going that I know some from my Facebook list, there's a mixture of trans girls and crossdressers, so it should be a good weekend, i hope the weather isn't too bad but it's not looking good!

So it's going to be a test of my makeup skills and I'll be taking a first trip out shopping on the Saturday as Catriona, I'll have to get the support of another hardened crossdresser I know to be able to go around with and try and go for some lunch.

Going out dressed is becoming easier the more I do it but going out in the daytime on a Saturday afternoon will be a nerve wracking for me!!! 😮

Sounds good and you look Fantastic. Esme has said about visiting Blackpool a few times maybe a chance for me to be Davina other than at home and would be nice to meet other tgirls and their wives and GFs.

Hello everyone, sorry I've not been able to get back here to tell everyone how it went.

So, Blackpool what can I say, a fantastic weekend, everyone is so friendly, no one is judging and transgender and T-girls are accepted completely.

The weather was a nightmare, gale force winds and rain! Plays havoc with your wig, by the time I'd walked round the corner to the bars it looked like I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards!!😂

I stayed at a guesthouse called The Dragonfly and is run by a t-girl called Scarlett Gillespie and her partner Paul.

There are a few guesthouse I'd recommend if your thinking of stopping as a T-girl, the other popular guesthouse is Lulu's lounge, lulu's is a bar as well and most people meet there, the other one I'd say to stop at is Peek-a-booze, again this has a large bar downstairs and has a live singer on as well.

Because of the bad weather we only really went between lulu's and peek a booze but there's also bars like the flying handbag and the imperial.

These pubs and bars are all along one street and so not too far to go in heels.

Drinks are cheap, £3.40 for a gin and tonic and it cost me £69 for two nights B&B with two evening meals so pretty good, it's not luxury accommodation but this is Blackpool and it was clean and enough for my needs with plenty of space in the room for doing my makeup and good lighting with a lit mirror.

There were three main groups of T-girls going that weekend, there were 19 - 20 in our group and about 25 in each of the other groups, if you wanted to go when there's a lot of girls out and about I'd suggest you go for the last weekend of the month as it's The Blackpool chix and Manchester minx weekend.

There are plenty of wives go with thier CD husbands so your not alone and I'd say it's a good way of mixing with other wives and girlfriends of the crossdressing girls.

I did my own makeup on the Friday night so it gave me the opportunity to practice live so to speak and I did ok and I'm getting more confident at doing my own.

Saturday, i got made up again in the morning and for the first time with the help and support of another T-girl we stepped out on Saturday afternoon and walked into Blackpool town centre on a busy Saturday and I went and bought a new handbag and purse from the market and got a bargain!

Saturday evening I had a makeover from Gordon Fawcette, Gordon has been a MUA for 35 years and was self taught, he is the best makeup artist I've used yet, a lot of the girls use him and he travels around the north west to various trans venues, he's based in Liverpool and has a complete makeover and dressing service called The Makeover Rooms.

He charges £50 for a makeover which is the going rate but he spends sometime styling your wig and when he did my makeover he spent nearly two hours with me and taking photos afterwards, when I looked in the mirror I just couldn't believe it was me looking back at myself, I'd just list all trace of "Him"!! The amount of compliments I got from all the other girls that night blew me away, I'll add some photos from the photo shoot so you can see how good he is, he even showed me how to sit and my posture.

So all together it was a fantastic weekend and I'll be going again most definately.

Oh, one thing, if you are going to book either the Dragonfly or Lulu's I'd suggest ringing them up direct, if you try and book online it just says no availability as the Dragonfly and lulu's are predominantly LGBTQ guesthouses and mist of the girls use them.

I'd defiantly recommend Blackpool as a night out or weekend for t-girls and wives, even during the day out in town.
