A few weeks back I joined an open free UK Chat Group with chatrooms including, general chat, 20's, 30's 40-50's, LGBT etc etc

I joined as "Davina" with the same profile photo as I have here and I left my sex as ? as the only option was Male / Female or no answer..

I've chatted in the LGBT room with the (T) I suppose covering me to see what the chat was about and found it's more of a solidatiry minority room.. I've been in the general chat room and the 20s. 30s and 40-50s room.

My findings

In every room on a few occasions I got comments from men of "What is that a man or a woman? "Can someone tell me what it is?" and "OMG theres a freak in the room".. I gave a smart witty reply to these comments belittling them and making them look stupid and lo and behold got a lot of "Lols" and support and in some instanced a moerator threw people out of the room.,

In every room I've chatted in I've had provate messages ranging from "I crossdress too" or "I've tried crossdressing" to "I crossdress I'd love my wife to be ok with it".. This sparked a bit of chat and some I've pointed at the forum as a place of support or to vent.

In every room I've had loads of positive chats and support from men and women saying good for you and crossdressing does no harm etc.. I still came across some women who said my pic looked good and got into a chat with some concluding it's fab i dress as a woman but they wouldn't want their husband dressing up..

I also had a lot of private messages no matter what room i was in from men asking me if I'd meet them for sex, or if I'd have cyber sex with them and most of these men married and claimed to be straight (Flattering comments on my profile photo good for the ego) but they state they're not bi apart from some men in the LGBT room who say it's the best of both worlds.

I actually only had one woman ask me about my sexuality and saying she'd take me to bed looking at the profile pic lol.

My social experiment conclusion is there is a wide acceptance or a who cares attitude to crossdressing. Many said good on me for going out in public and many said Esme was very understanding and I'm very lucky.. Some said i was brave for telling my wife risking her leaving me for crossdressing.

A small percentage thought it fun to try to mock me .. i say try as I made each and evey one regret that lol the alpha male in me and a small percentage wanted to get off on my profile pic or plain expected me to be into men just because i dress as a woman.. some it did not compute that I was married and straight.. but you dress as a woman.. some people dress as chewbacca what does that equate to?? they like Star Wars.. ah I dress as a woman and guess what I like women lol.

It's been good to chat to people who have never chatted to or come across crossdressing and explaining to them the simplicity of "why men crossdress" the multitude of reasons we do it and people have genuinely been interested which was cool.
