Subject: Another question...
I'm on a roll again lol.
I have read this following comment from other crossdressers before and have wondered of the logic behind it:
'I am a better cook/cleaner/dancer/(insert any other cliche female activity) when I'm dressed as a woman'.
There's a thread running on a forum at the moment asking if anyone 'cooked like a girl' when dressed. Most said they did. Yet, how exactly does one cook like a girl? Do you jut your hips at the stove and giggle stupidly or something??
This one annoys me. I'm certain it annoys most women and I've read it bothers most transwomen as well. How does this work? A man puts on a frock and suddenly he can dance, gossip, giggle and he likes to bake cookies...WTF?!!
I wouldn't even mention this if it wasn't so damn common. I actually think this dynamic speaks volumes about crossdressing far more than how sexy our clothing is. If a person must adorn a costume to allow themselves to do certain activities or feel certain emotions, well, that's a whole can of psychological worms I don't even know what to do with.
I'm certain neither of you feel this way, or maybe you do to a certain extent and can shed a bit of light on this? My husband doesn't really change who he is when dressed but I'll acknowledge he has suggested he's more willing to clean the house. Personally, I bet that's just manipulation so I'll let him dress haha. But clearly there is something about wearing a skirt that makes him feel more at ease with the activities I usually do. Still, it's seems a bit like a split personality...at least, that's my initial reaction when I read this sort of comment. I'm sure if mainstream Joe Public ever caught wind of these MANY comments on these forums they'd definitely be less inclined to think crossdressing is harmless. I don't even want to know what feminists must make of it!
Thoughts?

'I am a better cook/cleaner/dancer/(insert any other cliche female activity) when I'm dressed as a woman'. Hahahahhaha nonsense I’m a better cook and better at cleaning than any woman as a man or when I’m crossdressed … but I don’t dance..
Why would I cook like a girl everyone knows the best chefs are men. It’s not something I’ve ever done crossdressed … Never cooked dressed as a woman … maybe I’m the kinda woman who likes to be cooked for lol.
This dynamic does not speak volumes about crossdressing.
Sexy clothing speaks those volumes.
When I do crossdress it does help me unwind and relax but that’s more me dropping the Alphamaleness (I think) more than having a psychological worm, Can you get pills for that as it sounds nasty.
When I’m crossdressed I’m still me no drastic change apart from looking fabulous darling lol.
My wife does say I’m nicer when I’m dressed up with her.. Maybe I drop my sarcasm a little bit.
Saying you will clean the house dressed as a French maid is just a con to enable us to dress as a french maid and thats the truth. We have a french maids outfit it was £10 on ebay I’ve not worn it but the wife did once and it was whhhiittt woooooo. But at the same time I was crossdressed so was not allowed to touch (very sad face).
Theres no split personality.. Davina is just a useful name for the blog, online profiles and the like.. Shes not a real person lol.
Thoughts on feminists is they have surpassed themselves and are now very sexist .. Can you imagine a raving feminist catching her husband crossdressed.. Mind you if a raving feminist was married the guy is likely to be severly under the thumb and never sees his wife dressed as a woman.
I like Katie being a modern man cook, clean, hang out the washing, iron (sometimes), theres nothing female or male about this activity its just stuff that needs to get done and best as a shared thing in a relationship… I have put the hoover over and cleaned the house as Davina only because it needed to done and there was an opportunity to be dressed so sometimes do tidy up when crossdressed not because I was crossdressed acting out a scene of a woman tidying up singing “I want to break free”
Like Katie the only thing dressing does really change about me is how I sit, walk etc and I’m concious not to mince when I’m crossdressed .. lol my wifes even told me I need to pull my shoulders back stick my tits out and walk differently to walk more fem lol. Also agreed if a crossdresser was going out in public then he would have to adopt feminine gestures and a walk etc
My crossdressing is usually when I work from home so sat there dressed as a woman working on my laptop just like I would be if I were wearing shorts and tshirt or shirt tie and trousers .. Only difference being i’ll get up and check myself out in the mirror which I dont do in male attire lol.
I’m away with work tuesday night so will probably pack “Davina” and will end up working on the laptop most of the evening dressed up in the hotel room maybe 1 to 3 dresses for a change of attire and maybe I’ll update the blog or chat on Tvchix… what else could I do in a hotel room away from home with work… work on the laptop then watch the news..
