Subject: Men are weird
I watched a bit of 'The secret life of the human pup' last night.
Why is it nearly always men who like to dress up and pretend?
I've been to battle re-enactment with men dressed as medieval knights, I pass MAMILs (Middle Aged Men in Lycra) cycling in the countryside at the weekends - not many can carry off lycra! They'll dress up as soldiers and shoot paint pelts at each other. They'll dress as Elvis, super heroes, comic book / film character or furry animals. If a wife is involved it nearly always seems to be out of obligation as opposed to genuine enjoyment of dressing up.
It all seems to be an escapism from their regular lives.
In a lot of cases our crossdressing is only a form of this escapism so we're really not that different from a lot of the male population, it's just we can't pop out on a Sunday afternoon if full dress as your average MAMIL can do.
Men are weird and women just do get it!

I looked up the programme you were talking about and there are some weird habits!
I watched a programme on Female Masking with my wife. She though that it was weird and would have been a real deal breaker. There is a female masker on the forum I used to belong too who classed himself as a crossdresser. We really are a broad and accepting church.
It's funny how when compared to other habits crossdressing can even seem normal!
