Has anyone have a makeover are they expensive?
I'm thinking of a birthday present for him and think as he has everything he may appreciate this. Just seen this on YouTube and thought wow they do a great job so what do you think? good present for a Crossdressing husband or what?
So Em has he had his makeover? If so are you willing to share the results?
Katie
Davina, try Jecca in Cardiff £40 for a makeover. i had my makeup lesson there. Also had my makeup done at my hotel before i went out last July.
You'll have to give us a review once he's been.
Some nice socks and a power tool!
Well done
I know Id appreciate a pro makeover to see how real I could look and some vanity photos but hate spending too much money on Crossdressing
You'll have fun I bet
Davina
Not saying where but I've booked him a makeover for his birthday and you're right its not cheap but he will enjoy it but how will I answer the question "What did you get your husband for his 40th?" lol
Hes got everything and I know he'll appreciate this
Hi Em
Just pulling your leg about the pink fog!
Did you check out Translife? Weekend away and they do bespoke packages so you can probably get your make over too! It's in a nice quite area of Hove. I've walked past it on numerous occasions and never knew it was there!
Brighton is a great place to visit. It's very accepting and it looks like most of their accompanied visits are to Kemptown which is the LGBT heart of the city.

Katie no pink fog just ok with the crossdressing and what do you get the man who has everything ?
I know he would like to see how good he could look with a pro makeover but would never book this himself.
I need to look into it maybe we'll get a discount if I have a makeover too?
Em (Wife of a Crossdresser)
I've looked into a makeover but the cost put me off as I don't like to spend too much on "Davina" but would love to see how much a pro makeup artist could make me look like a woman and pick up some tips.
I think he'd love having a makeover as a birthday present but bet he'd be nervous going there.
She is really sweet and she's so at one with it.
I'm really tempted to pop down to Translife. It literally a 20 minute walk away!
Katie
Oh wow Tara you look fabulous as does the tgirl in the video I don't think Emmas seeing pink mist I think its sweet she's thinking of getting her husband a makeover for his birthday I mean what do you get the man who has everything lol a makeover as a woman haha.

Hi Em
Looks like you're suffering from a case of the 'pink fog'.
It's a lovely idea but they can be expensive. It really depends on what your budget is and where you want to go. Personally I've never been to one but The Boudoir' in London was recommended http://www.theboudoironline.com/index.php.
If you fancy a weekend away the 'Translife' in sunny Brighton do a B&B service too! https://translife.uk/translife-dressing-service/dressing-service-our-approach/
Another alternative is a personal shopper at one of the big department stores. The service is normally free but you get to try on lots of different styles to find the ones that suit you. You could alway do a joint appointment! I have seen a personal shopper at Debenhams can came away with a couple of new outfits. It was a great experience.
The other option is make up tutorial at somewhere like MAC or Bobbi Brown. They normally charge but will refund this if you buy products. They are both happy to do makeup for crossdressers and some stores do have private rooms. Again something you could do togther.
Makes me sound a bit tight but I like to get value for money so getting the service and something to take home makes sense to me. I know it's not the 'full package' but at least it can be a shared experience.

I've been to Cindy's Boys Will Be Girls.
Makeovers are expensive but, you do get an idea of what can be achieved with the right makeup and skills.
Below is one of my pictures from my day spent with Cindy"
