WHEN my wife suggested I dress up in her stockings and suspenders, I nearly fell off the bed.

We are both 41 and have been married for 12 years.

We’ve always had a great sex life, or so I thought, but one night my wife suggested spicing things up. I didn’t mind the thought of being more adventurous but I’m a 6ft 2in “man’s man” and I’ve never been into cross-dressing.

I was shocked that she wanted to try that of all things.

She says it will really turn her on but I think it’s weird. I haven’t done it yet

Nobody should feel they have to do anything sexually that does not appeal to them.

A good sex life is all about compromise and finding what you can both enjoy.

Tell your wife that cross-dressing isn’t for you but you’re happy to experiment.

Oh I should ask bearing in mind she asked this before I'd told her I was a Cross dresser and I could have so easily said that was my first time and I enjoyed it and wanted to do it again. I opted for the truth "I've cross dressed before and have done since young on and off" It did actually push me more toward where I am now dressing and makeup then wondering how "convincing" I could look.. Wig makeup the lot. Davina

Even if he's not into it he should at least give it a go, if it makes his wife happy then at least try it for her, and if he's really not comfy doing it at least he can just say it's not his thing?

But then again he may find his wife is turned on so much it may be the best sex he's ever had? You just never know until you try.

Spot on you never know until you try and its a harmless bit of fun.

Esme once said "let me dress you up as a woman"

Macho me of course said "No Way"... thinking... 'OMG has she sussed I like to dress up?'

A week later "Why won't you let me dress up as a woman come on"

So Esme did my makeup made best use of trying to style my hair more fem I chose some nice lingerie of hers, stockings and a little black dress and squeezed my size 8 feet into her size 6 heels and she said "Wow you look like a woman"

I said "I've done this before but it's the first time in makeup and fully dressed in front of someone"

Wrong thing to say and I'd just admitted to crossdressing and she hadn't sussed me and was mortified.. explanation required.. questions asked are you gay - no - do you want to be a woman - no - is it my fault erm no - then why???... 8 years later same room in she comes with a cup of tea for "Davina" whos working from home but it took a lot of talking and blogging and compromise.

But this wife wants him to dress up for "sexy time" he should be all over it woohooo dress me up lol

I echo is he mad?? If Esme said to me go get dressed up and let's have sex I'd be up those stairs like a shot grabbing my sexy lingerie, stocking and heels, makeup the lot.. But she's told me she's not a lesbian which she wouldn't be bedding me dressed up anyway but I get her drift .. But still if she did ask or tell me to get dressed up boom yes please.. Equally I'm happy of she'd get dressed up for some fun.. My advice to this guy is you don't know what you're missing give it a go. Davina
