I have always enjoyed cross-dressing but my girlfriend won’t let me go public with it.

I told her about my fetish after we had been together for six weeks.

I explained that it did not mean I am gay or want a sex change – I just love the feeling of wearing women’s clothes and using make-up.

She said it was OK as it was in private. We have been together for a year and are both 36.

We are very happy and our sex life is good but I now want to go out dressed as a female.

My girlfriend will not let me and is adamant she will never come out with me when I am dressed as a woman.

What can I do to get her to agree?

Agony aunt says: You may have to accept that you cannot change her mind.

I understand that being accepted in women’s clothes is part of the buzz for you, but your girlfriend needs you to see her feelings as important as yours.

I would say you’ve waded into this all wrong. Great you told her you dress well done and she set the rule do it in private meaning shes not interested in seeing you dressed. Its a lot after 6 weeks to drop on her and she may end the relationship soon if youve not explained this well enough and its a bit quick to drop this then follow up with you want to go out dressed.. She clearly wants no part in this. Why didnt you go out when single?

Need to talk about this with her and find her true feelings about crossdressing and having a crossdressing boyfriend.
