Thought it about time to get myself organised and sort out a face pic.
I saved hard to allow me a two hour make up lesson with photo's and thus Ally at last has an image. I know it's still a work in progress but it has lifted my spirits no end 😊
Yes, the cost! I have to say, it's what has always put me off - never having been very affluent, and there has always been something 'more important'. :)
My personal advice at this juncture is- you are what you Eat and you are what you wear - if you buy cheap you will look cheap an extra few pounds will make you so much better 🥰🤗😘🙏
There are definitely different ways to skin the same cat.
Not going to lie, I buy cheap! My cheap is Ebay and FB Marketplace or the odd Charity shop where I try to buy 'new' items that have not been worn. I've had some amazingly bargains from brands like Phase 8 and Monsoon to more mainstream high street names such as Next and M&S inc Per Una. I've just bought a brand new, full sequin, black jumpsuit from the V by Very Curves range (I need a bigger size 😞, I wish I was a couple of size slimmer but hey!) at less than 1/4 of the retail price. Two pairs of brand new size 9 heels at £6 & £10 each and a brand new wig (that was expensive for me) but was actually less than 1/3 of the retail price.
Suzzanne does have limitations on the styles of clothing that she buys so the necklines are not too low, skirt lengths are slightly longer and most dresses have at least cap sleeves or longer. Choices are certainly more broad in colour than in my male mode that's for sure.
All in all you can do expensive, cheap! Be savvy, set a budget (my dresses are no more than £15 but are often less than £10) and don't be disappointed if you lose out on an item, just move on and look for something else 👍.
The everything £5 site is full of cheap clothes but some are bankrupt stock, or last seasons that big stores want to shift. An example of this is I bought my wife a dress that original came from Whitestuff at £65 which I paid £5.85, 100% cotton. I try to steer clear of too much acrylic/polyester as nothing but static shocks 😂
You look lovely Ally. I bet it felt marvellous to be dressed and pampered to bring yourself out again. :)
Gorgeous photo x

Well hello Ally. You look absolutely fabulous and really happy. Having a makeover is a great experience and to have some pics of the day is great.
Looking fabulous
Great looks and I can’t decide which hair suits you best and loving the dress - it’s really you 😍
Why is it pushing your luck? If you have the pictures then post them here don’t hide them away - you give others hope😊
Thanks so much, it's taken a while to be bold and show my face. Guess I felt comfortable around this company x
