Ok. So I've been working shifts and had plenty of time to scan YT and watch a plethora of Crossdressing videos. I'm obviously aware that the male shape is not an ideal fit for female clothes, hence why I invested in a number of corsets which help to pull my waist in and give me more of an hourglass shape to my midriff. I've thought about using hip pads to accentuate the hourglass figure but it stikes me that if I did, then I'd end up in tights, big pants, cinchers and elasticated body shapers, either all at once or in combination. None of these garments look particularly nice but they do seem to do the job and create a smooth, hour glass shape.
But that's not what I really want. Yes I'd like to be slightly more curvy but I want to feel and look 'sexy' at the same time. Some of my corsets are stunning garments and, despite the effort of getting into them, make me feel good, I'm not sure plain pants and elasticat d body shapers would make me feel the same way.
Can you look and feel good with beautiful, well structured, underwear or should I consider a more frumpy look in order to gain some extra curves?
And much as I hate to admit it, tights just might be an option for me now as well. No more struggling with suspender straps and far more colour options (in the 80-100 denier region) than stockings.
Compromises, compromises!
I don't like the idea of hip/ bum pads. They can look great but I've seen so many where they are just unrealistic, like something you'd see on Drag Race on one of the gaudier, less 'glam' queens.
My main objection though is that I enjoy dressing largely because of how the clothes feel against my body, not a load of foam-rubber or latex. Consequently I have to accept that I'm never going to have Jayne Mansfield or Marilyn curves.
I wear lots of tight clothes (and I do tuck) and the other half has frequently complained about being jealous of my figure whilst I bemoan my lack of hips. I think the main thing for us girls is to not have a pot belly (I speak from experience!). It does make it easier to trim the waist and wearing a smaller size means that skirts for example, have more shape and form around the hips and bum better.
I don't have any corsets but do wear all-in-one bodyshapers and I will sometimes be found in a panty-girdle (there are nice ones out there, not just what your granny wore! lol).
There are bum-enhancing exercises you can do - I had an app on my phone which was pretty good and after a while I could feel a difference in how firm it was. Unfortunately I got a new phone and haven't done the exercises for a while lol
I always wear tights (well, very occasionally stockings) by the way... I think it may be some sort of fetish😏
