I count us as being part of this .. ok we're down the pecking order on the Trans Spectrum but lots of us present fully as T-Girls, wigs, makeup, perfume, lingerie, hosiery, heels, dresses etc and it makes us feel good, different, less stressed, more relaxed maybe a bit more the real us than the males we portray to the world.
Most of us would present fem a lot more than we can or even present how we felt like presenting.
What harm are we doing?
Think on that for a second or 4..
Now look at this tweet by Welsh Government.
There are over 1000 likes but around 200 tweets disgusted with the Trans flag being flown in Cardiff on Trans Day of Visibility đłď¸ââ§ď¸.
We need or rather society needs to accept people are Trans if they like it or not the Trans Spectrum exists and if you want to be called trans, a t-girl, a crossdresser, a man, a woman or anything else so what, but the 200 or so tweets calling for the flag to be removed as it does harm to women and children need to explain why..
A t-girl commented back to a rabid woman bitterly offended by the flag by saying if you think the flag or flagpole is dangerous then please report it and get it checked out we don't want it falling and hitting anyone on the head.
Others have commented about toilets and the threat to women and children having a "man' dressed as a woman in the Ladies toilets.. believe me if I were to go into the Ladiea I'd hope no-one was in there and I coukd get in use the loo, wash hands, top up the lippy and leave without seeing anyone.. last thing on my mind is attacking anyone.
Lots of the people commenting are not even in Wales just chirping across the border.
It's all media led hysteria against trans people and some of the things a certain famous author tweets is unbelievable.
So we'll done Welsh Government there is no room for Transphobia in Wales đłď¸ââ§ď¸đ´ó §ó ˘ó ˇó Źó łó ż
What's everyone's thoughts on this?

This is the part of the issue that the Trans community are facing with the media jumping on such stories but I feel our Governments and leaders haven't really got to grips with with the Trans community and maybe legislation around trans individuals. Look at the controversy within sports with M2F individuals breaking female records (and for the record I have no issues with trans individuals but I'm on the side of Sharon Davies on this). Does the individuals 'right' usurp the accepted gender norm. Not in my book.
I believe that CDs are probably on the fringes of pushback from such issues, especially if choosing to go out when dressed and use female specific facilities. I would be happy to go to an CD specific event (maybe Leeds First Friday etc) where I would have collective acceptance but I'm certainly not looking to transition. I'm happy where I am, enjoying my dressing when I can and being accepting where I need to be. Indeed, just 2 evening ago there was a M2F trans individuals within our group at an evening event I was attending and she was completely accepted and suffered no I'll will or snide comments that I was privvy to. That's the society we need to be but also to accept the rights of biological females and not stamp all over them with maybe I'll judged legislation.
