My wife wwas telling me about a bit on Woman's hour about feminist lingerie. Apparantly there is a spike in the purchase of women's lingerie at Christmas. Not sure if it's all bought for women as an ideal time for a crossdresser to shop with an excuse lol. Anyway they were saying that lingerie models where for the benefit of men (soft porn) who only purchase scratchly, lacy stuff that's uncomfortable and doesn't fit (I gave up buying my wife lingerie a few year back for that very reason!).
Women are more interested in seeing other women like them showing off practical underwear. The want to see stretch marks, hair and excess fat when they decide which underwear to buy. Not entirley sure that is the case and can't see it catching on at M&S.
They also said that many women also have a favourite bra that can be anything up to 10 years old. I've got one about the same age I think!
I think that it really deomnstates that women tend to buy lingerie for comfort and practicality when not dressing to impress. Men on the other hand buy 'sexy' impractical stuff. Looking at my lingerie I think it's nice and safe. M&S no VPL shorts and T shirt bras. I do have a 'Rosie' set which is a bit more 'sexy' but really looking for comfort.

PS I'd sooner they stick with the lingerie models. Can imagine my childhood without access to the Littlewood catalogue linegrie section. i guess they've got the internet now and the online world of lingerie models.
If you want sexy comfortable lingerie you have to pay top prices.
I had some nice lingerie for Christmas and He also got me boring every day knickers lol
Also have some cheaper sexy lingerie which isnt something id wear all day long.
