The sexual/romantic attraction to females, women, or femininity.
As much as I hate lables there are a few that ring true. I believe that we are all a mix of different 'lables' and it is very difficult to put yourself into just one catagory. I think that we can flip and flap between lables based on our situation and even mood. Nothing is fixed and we change with age.
For want of a better analogy we are like a mixing desk. Our feelings can be adjusted up and down and mixed to suit our mood.
Gynephilic is an alternative to the gender binary heterosexual / homosexual. It means that I find feminine women and t girls attractive. It doesn't mean I would act on these attractions but just that they exist. I've been looking at this attraction in the terms of bi curious but this assumes that there are two genders and that we cannot move up and down the gender scale.
A lot of crossdresser that I have spoken to have a great love of women and femininity and we often class ourselves as heterosexual men. But we still find other t girls attractive which calls us to question our sexuality. Being a gynesexual is a broader definition of attraction and I am sure that there are many 'straight' men who would find some t girls very attractive. You cannot control who you find attrctive and I don't think you should have any guilt in saying who you find attractive. The real test is if you do something about it!
Of course there is an oppositie to Gynephilia in Androphilia which is the attraction to men and masculinity. Many of our wives and girlfriends will be Androphilic which is why they don't find us attractive even though they know that under the make up, wig and clothes we are really male.
Understanding our own feelings may help us to understand those of our partners.

If you go back to a previous post where I put up this photo.
I think that most men would find it hard to deny that 'she' is attractive. Knowing 'she' is actually a male may change the attraction but as a purely visual prompt I think most men would respond with a positive. Even knowing she is a he it may still be hard for men not to say she is attractive. I think if they found her attarctive before they knew she was a male they'd be lying if they still didn't find her attractive after. We work on visual prompt and she has all the 'femininity' prompts that most men look for, hence most men are Gynesexual.
