I am considering buying a breast plate. But I am very unsure about fit and ease of putting on and taking off. I am restricted in my upper body movement one arm specifically. I would like advice on how easy they are to put on and take off. Along with sizing they all seem to be 36" where I am and wear 38C bras. My reasons my existing forms are better in a pocketed bra and most are not very pretty or sexy. Any advice would be helpful in my future purchase. I have tear drop C forms and D triangular forms I love them both but would like to wear my pretty basques and not require to keep adjusting my forms inside the cups.

I like the idea of a breast plate just for the cosmetic effect of having a 'proper' cleavage and being able to wear low cut blouses and dresses etc that I feel I can't wear now. From what I've read a breast plate can be difficult to put on and to take off and could tear if you're not careful. I believe they are also very hot to wear for an extended period.
I think the next time I go for a full makeover experience I will check if a breast plate is an option to try and sew for myself what the pros and cons are.
Like you I've only had forms. Bizarrely some DD and B's, first bought as a cheap offer. Although sometimes big breasts are just the ticket depending on the outfit.
I've been tempted with a breast plate and they have definitely come down in price over the years. This is certainly since the likes of wish and temu, etc.
My main concern is that a lot seem to be very thin. Which is good on one hand that it sits closer to the skin but can also tear more easily. I reckon for every product I've looked at there is a review for a ripped example.
I think you need to be extremely careful in how you put them on/off but also how you store them. Also depending on your circumstances harder to store discretely compared to forms.
I guess lots of research and don't spend more than you can be prepared to lose if something tears.
I have to agree though that they look great with some of the lower cut dresses, tops, corsets, etc.
Good luck x
I know what you mean. I wear a 38c bra and it fits perfectly. I have always had bigger breast even when I was in my teens. I use to get teased about it and I only weighed 100 pds or so then. Sometimes a 36c fits good too. But I love the way my breast are. Just sometimes hard to hide when your a guy in the closet. But I love the way a bra fits me. Did I say that already? I do take supplements. I try to wear one everyday especially in the fall and winter when I can wear a sweatshirt.
