Sindy mentioned this in a post a while ago and I just saw it in another article (about football) so I thought I'd investigate further.
Sindy used it to explain how women felt about men who crossdress in that there is a tipping point at which women can feel a strong revulsion. There is normally empathy up to this point. The term 'uncanny valley' was coined by a professor Masahiro Mori when describing humanoid robots. Up to a point people liked them but when they got too human there was a negative attitude. BUT. As they became more human again people started reacting positively.
I was wondering if the same was true of crossdressing men? If we actually 'pass' is that a positive? Maybe Sindy can answer that one.

I dont know how id feel having a swob or something personal looked at by a trans dr or nurse but i expect also it would depend on how they looked which i know sounds awful and Davina you will always set the Davina type profile lovely
Rebecca (wife)
Youre still the Davina type Davina if you go out or not
A crossdresser you can trust who doesnt take it too serious controls it uses it for fun and escapism
Emma (wife)
Its an awkward time in society where certain trans can be accepted and others still shunned and i suppose those lucky enough to pass at first glance or who have had surgery to look more fem are probably accepted more.
My wifes said in the past she could never kiss me as Davina as i look too Much like a women which i took as a Compliment.
Weve discussed going out as Girls when away without the kids later In 2018 I think i can pass well enough and will put some practise in and thought into how ill dress etc but do i use the female toilets? is that legal in the UK? I certainly wont out myself going in the gents in a pub.
Acceptance is getting better but still a long long way off fully accepting trans people.
I can also Empathise with the woman who requested a female nurse being unhappy with a trans nurse thats an awkward situation at the end of the day it shouldnt matter but it does to the majority of people
If you really look like a girl there is a differance. There was rescently a complaint about a TG nurse trying to do a cervical swab in a woman who has requested a female nurse. The issue was not that the nurse was a TG. But that she did not look like a woman and the woman did not feel listened to. So appearance do have an impact xx
