Subject: Mundane or Exciting
One of the questions often asked is 'why would you want to dress as a woman it's boring?'
I think a lot of this is because women dress as women all the time so it becomes mundane, boring, uncomfortable etc. Having to do your makeup everyday before you go out the house - even if it is just popping to the shops to pick up a pint of milk.
Women have a certain pressure to be presentable all the time and we know that if you are forced to do something then it can become mundane and boring.
Granted some women absolutely love make up and clothes but they tend to be younger and without a family. Nothing kills glamour like young kids!
For a crossdresser being a man can also be mundane. Shaving everyday is a real chore. Jeans and a t shirt everyday. A suit or uniform for work - dull. Suit options - Blue, Grey or Black. Shirts - White, Blue and if you're adventurous pink! (ignoring casual shirts). Tie or no tie big choice!
To get dressed up is exciting for crossdressers. It's not mundane or boring. It's exciting, sexy, it lifts the spirit. If you can create the image you want you feel so uplifted. If we dressed everyday because we had too it would be boring and mundane.
But we don't. We can't.
I get heels are uncomfortable. That stocking are impractical, that bra's can dig in. But this is only a short term fantasy for us crossdressers. It's not full time. We just get change back into our comfortable, mundane garb and get on with our life as men.
As Sindy said maybe getting dressed up would be fun and exciting after so long as a soccer mum.
Does that make sense?
