If you have a new laptop check the video call settings

So this was a few years back..

I'm working from home stockings heels lingerie and a nice dress perfect makeup red lips and a nice black and white dress oh and long blonde hair.

I've not long received delivery to home of a new work laptop and we've moved a lot of meetings to TEAMS..

I've worked all morning knowing I have a work meeting in the afternoon with people all over the UK dialling in to review something or another.. TEAMS was new and on my old laptop was all configured how I liked it.

But this new laptop was about to make it's first venture into TEAMS..

The time to join the meeting was upon me so I clicked to join the meeting as I'm looking at something on my other screen and I hear "Hello Miss are you on this call?"

I glance at my main screen and staring back at me on the TEAMS call is Davina full screen noting 3 other people on the call..

Thumb over the camera and switch it off then I heard "Hello Miss?".. "Oh she must have left?".. "Hello?"

This was early days and TEAMS new to everyone. Anyone on the ball would see I hadn't left and my name on the screen but they thought this blonde woman had left the male dominated call..

The I heard "She's gone.. pity she was hot"..

Good job I'd turned my mic off as well as my camera as I laughed out loud and then followed up with "Agreed she was hot"

I told my wife later in the evening about this and she called me an idiot for almost outing myself to work..

It wouldn't have mattered as in work were all Diversity and Inclusion trained.. they'd have to accept me as a crossdresser.. but that's something else my wife's said I shouldnt come out to work..

She's right id probably lose some credibility in my male dominated business.
