More open talk

Kids in bed the night my wife finally met Davina I asked if we could talk and we did.

I asked again what she thought of me as Davina and again she said you look like a woman, your makeup is good but maybe on the tarty side and said if you're going to dress and do make up be classy not trashy which is a phrase that's stuck with us.

I said ok can we one day go through all the clothes I've accumulated. Intercepted more like where she'd had a sort out and we agreed on that.

Then she said let's look on eBay for a new wig for you and she picked out another blonde wig with more of a curl and she advised a fringe to it..

We carried on talking I asked was I how she expected and she said no I thought you'd be more drag queen and you were more how I'd dress just tone down the makeup a bit.

It was wonderful and somehow we arranged that on the weekend we'd arrange for the kids to stay at baby sitters and we'd have a girls night in me as Davina..

OMG this was so exciting.

A whole quantum leap of acceptance from my wife 7 or 8 years after I'd told her I was a crossdresser and we'd finally met and moved on massively.

Hindsight I wish those 7 years had been 7 months, 7 weeks or 7 days all the worry and angst about crossdressing and here we were planning a girls night in.
