Trans Day of Visibility

I see people wishing others a happy trans day of visibility.

Nothing on the news and I didn't get a bank holiday for it. Didn't get one for St David's day either.

Never heard of it until today.

Spent all day on online video meetings with work so I wasn't at all visibly trans although by the end of the day I could have done with being Davina.. early night tonight too much brain work in work today.

Is it getting a bit much these days for this and that?

My dad asks when's the straight married man's day this year and people scoff it him and say he's wrong to say that but I disagree if we're making up days why not a straight married man's day.. not like we get a bank holiday for that either so who cares.

Women's day, and various others if there's also this trans day is there a men's day?

Every year on 19th November, International Men's Day (IMD) is celebrated across the world. Many people will be left wondering why there's a men's day? Don't we believe in equality?

At this rate men will be the underdogs.

International Women's Day is celebrated on 8 March, commemorating women's fight for equality and liberation along with the women's rights movement. International Women's Day gives focus to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.

There we go there's the womens day man's day and trans day.. 🤯

Birthday, Mother's day and Father's day Christmas and Easter and a few bank holidays but the rest?? Do we need them all?

Does no harm I suppose and some are a bit of fun but it all goes over my head I'm afraid.
