This was a really heart warming story especially at the end. I think it proves that society's views are changing - especially amongst the young. He's a gay guy (evident from the first clip) and not really a crossdresser in the 'Davina' sense of the word but none the less he faces challenges.

Aww poor kid good on him and fantastic how his friends ralleyd round at the prom.
Shame about his dad but he doesn't really seem to have much of a relationship with him. His father's loss.
We watched this when it was on BBC.

Wow good program and a brave thing to do at 16.
The way his friends and school mates accepted him at Prom and made that stand makes you realise times are changing
There were parts when I cringed as I cant cope with camp lol terrible thing to say but the camp voice and mincing just cringed me sorry can't help that.
Lots of things he said about early dressing I can relate to and the poppy g outside dressed looking up at the stars.
Disaapoi yes with his father's attitude at the end.
Good story though and nice to see straight or gay the same sort of attitude were men and men most of the time but like the escapism crossdressing provides.
