Hello everyone, its been a long time since I was on the forum, a lot has happened.
Lost my job due to covid, struggled to find another one, been able to get a contract job but its zero hours so I don’t always get work and its on a day to day basis so thats one reason I've not really wanted to be on the forum.
I managed to practice my make-up skills when I was out of work, dressed at home a few times and actually managed to squeeze in a couple of weekends away to Blackpool, one at the end of August and then just last weekend for Halloween just before the lockdown take 2.
I also did a photo shoot in September that had been booked way before the pandemic and it had to be cancelled twice due to restrictions and to keep in with the regulations.
Being able to go out albeit restricted with having to keep to the social distancing rules has been difficult but I managed it and found a way to go out and I have to say I needed it after being made redundant and the worry of what was going to happen.
I wasn't going to let it get in the way of Catriona's life.
Halloween weekend was great, dressed as a Goth on the Friday night and then in fancy dress as a Day of the Dead sugar skull 💀 Skeleton for Halloween 🎃
But we all had to stay in the hotel, as the hotel was serving food we could drink so we kept to the guidelines and then going out on the Saturday afternoon for lunch as Catriona to a local pub was all we could do really but we had a good laugh.
So thats me and what I've been upto over the virus period.
My wife still isn't accepting but let's me go out as and when I want, she doesn't show any interest in my weekends away, doesn't ask how things went but this last time we did talk about one or two things that happened, mainly how dead Blackpool was and how I managed with the rules and regs.
She still hasn't seen Catriona even though I ask her once in a while, but there you go, can't have everything I guess.
Hope everyone is keeping safe and well, I'll try and catch up with the posts.
Cat xxx
Thanks Emma, its certainly been a very interesting journey so far as Catriona 🙂
