I'd love a shopping day for Davina a new outfit or two but also hate spending money on Davina. I've got Wednesday in my diary free no meetings and come hell or high water as soon as the kids are off to school I'm dressing and spending the day as Davina. I need it as I've become a workaholic again and I need to snap out of it and use my escapism for my me talk health. I get stressed with work and things and dressing helps me escape it for a while but when you can't dress as work is full on or because the kids are about you press on harder with work pushing stress levels beyond the safety limit and you can burn yourself out in the monotony and expectation of it all. Wednesday I shall be up and out for a walk early bath and shave and once kids on the bus will be slapping on makeup, tights, heels knickers and bra, fake boobs and wig and working as Davina for the day.

I hesitated to reply to this thread as I have been having a great 2022 so far, and didn't want to appear smug!

However: I have previously posted on this forum bemoaning my inability to find any long boots. Well guess what? Yes, I finally got some! Thank you New Look! In fact I bought a pair, and the a week later they were in the sale for £20 so I bought another pair, just to be on the safe side 😆

Needless to say, most of my outfit selections since then have involved my new OTK boots.

No good so far. I'm away I a couple of weeks and was hoping to get some time dressed but I'm not sure that will happen. That might be a bit disappointing as I've got two new dresses to try on!
