As I mentioned in another thread, my partner and I were off to Leeds for a couple of days and the plan was that Cara should make her public debut. I am happy to report that we did go and Mission accomplished - I did make the huge step into the world of public crossdressing!
Our first day there we went shopping for clothes, I dressed in tight black faux leather leggings, tight black top and baseball boots with my girly leather jacket. We booked a table in a restaurant and went back to the hotel to get ready for the Big Night. And here's where I began to get cold feet... makeup on but feeling scared. My girlfriend suggested I go a little low-key if I was feeling nervous so I stuck with leggings and my long boots with a fairly low heel. And no wig. Fortunately I have long hair so she styled it into a more girly style and off we went.
The walk there was nerve-wracking, past a small park full of people and a restaurant with lots of diners at tables on the street, it being a gorgeous warm and sunny evening. Finally to the restaurant and the walk to the table before being able to sit and relax a little... phew! Anyway, a cocktail steadied my nerves somewhat, and we had a lovely meal. My partner then suggested we take the unfinished bottle of wine back to our hotel room and perhaps I would like to get changed before going out for a drink... and I knew I had to do it or I never would. So that's what we did! 😀 I slipped into a leather mini, lace tights, more girly top and a wig, boots back on and I was ready to go...
Another walk to a bar where we sat in the crowded beergarden. After a couple of drinks we went back a longer way, giving me plenty of opportunities to catch glimpses of my reflection as we passed bars and restaurants... it felt so good! 😁
Day 2 - more shopping. I even plucked up the courage to try a few things on in a couple of shops! That evening we'd booked a restaurant on the other side of the city centre so the walk there was through the centre, which was still very busy! I was aware of a few comments and sniggers as we sashayed along, but I wasn't too bothered: I was hand-in-hand with my girlfriend in the evening sunshine, feeling very happy and free - could those mockers say that? Unfortunately after our (unexpectedly huge) meal neither of us fancied going for a drink, but I'd planned ahead and we had a bottle of wine in our hotel room, so took an extended walk back through the city.
Next day we headed home via Harrogate - more shopping! I managed to pick up a lovely faux-fur coat in a charity shop for just a few quid, although it must have previously belonged to a committed 80-a day smoker - quite a bit of airing required 😁
So that was our little adventure in as small a nutshell as I can manage. We had a fabulous time and my girlfriend is already talking about where we can go next 😀
Anyway, as requested by @Chelle (R’s Wife) here are a couple of pics

ps and we didnt even take a photo of Davina out and about
I've ventured outside a few times.. out the back garden in the dead of night just to feel outside.was the first experiance and after that I foolishly when dressed put the bins out not realising the racket they make and forgetting the street light outside our gate but all curtains were closed no one saw me.
Next was when in a Travelodge in Shrewsbury I'd done my makeup and dressed and was really pleased with the result lol then realised my mobile phone was dead and my charger.... was in the car.. so did i take off the immaculate makeup or chance no one would see me .. I chanced it left the room in a nice dress wig makeup the only anomaly was the 4 inch heels i was wearing and typically someone came up the corridor i passed them unhasstled hoping i was passing then past reception, then past two blokes having a fag outside and to my car and sat in for a few mins laughing to myself got my charger and did it all over again in reverse.. I think after 2 and a bit years of staying there once per month they had me asterisk'd as a T girl .. My last visit there when i booked in the receptionist was overly friendly and helpful to the point after id got into my room and unpacked Davina hung up two dresses by the door and wig lingerie heels and hosiery on the bed a knock at the door and it was the receptionist and my "crossdressing gear" was right in front of her.. "Is there anything i can do for you?" ... what I should have said was yes can you do my make up lol.
It was the last time i was staying there so who cares and i even went out for a quick walk as Davina that night once it got darker and said hi to reception .. different girl.
Next time was "London baby" Me and Esme go up for the NFL every year at least one match and make a friday to monday about it and in 2017 i said whilst there on the friday night theres no one here i could have come out as Davina which was a joke and Esme said well why don't you do it next year so 2018 came along and Davina packed.. spent the morning shopping but I'd already bought my outfit.. Esme wanted me in leggings, boots and a blouse but the tie for the blouse wasnt packed so i opted for mustard dress, tights and boots and a new wig..
Back at the hotel i dressed and did my makeup put on the wig and Esme confirmed i looked ok, jacket on and handbag (a first but where else to keep a mobile and lippy) then off out i went down the corridor to reception and then down in the lift chuffed with my bravery.. ground floor exiting the lift the doors open and a young Indian family waiting to use the lift i didnt panic no way in the brief moment would they suss i was a t girl as i try to get out they rudely try to get in and their child was coming straight at me so i swerved to avoid him and snap something went in my knee as i slipped.. I'd previously hurt my knee playing football anyway in pain i soldiered on ill walk this off out i went into the outside and waited for Esme too nervous or didnt want to be seen with me exiting the hotel.. She comes down and says lets walk i'll walk behind you..
I was in pain but not drastic pain (yet) and she was behind me suddenly the cover of darkness cancelled out by shop lighting lol and then she caught me up after a few 100 yds and said OMG you're passing no ones given you a second glance.. charming legs like these and no ones oggled me lol
so we walked side by side and after about 1/2 mile my knee just gave in and i had to sit down.. somehow i made it back to the hotel and into the lift past reception down corridor limping which must have looked strange and in a cold sweat made it back to the hotel and led on the bed.. Esme got ice from the bar which went on my knee thru the tights.. 30 mind later i said id better get all this off stood up and almost passed out in pain ...
Ibruprofen and a sleepless night next morning couldnt put any weight on my knee.. luckily Argos sell crutches and there was one next to the hotel which rescued the weekend i limped round on crutches and at Wembly on arriving a guy said go no further and fetched a wheelchair and took us up to our seats and even met us post match and picked me up and took me back down to the exit great service i can report not repeated at the Principality stadium in Cardiff a week later.
Drs when home and scan and tore the meniscus in my knee "that bloody family" spoilt my first night out propper in public with Esme by being ignorant and rushing into the lift.. but glad i got out and enjoyed it whilst it lasted
2019 back to Wembley Davina packed incase but Esme didnt want the pressure of me injuring Davina again so i was in man mode out in London on the Friday night and again it was quiet and never guess what Esme said "Oh it's pretty quiet you could have come out as Davina"
I think i'd do it again some time but would be far easier if it was a Trans event or Trans hotel or something. Not been out as Davina since.
Your Story is better than mine and much more a sucess lol
Davina
