I find it a relief from normal work and day to day stress, but yet i don't dress unless i can do full makeover and then is not as often as i would like.
I'm with Davina on this one. I do get irritable and snappy if I haven't dressed in a while, especially if I've been thinking about it but can't get the opportunity. It's as if taking off my male clothes somehow lifts a weight off my shoulder and I feel different. Going back to being a man after I've dressed is easier.
I couldn't live as a woman 24/7 as that would be swopping the stresses of being a man for the stresses of being a woman so I don't see the point. It is the escapism that give the relief.
In work everything is go go go with deadlines to meet and sometimes i work from home and crossdress and it makes the day less stressful dont ask me to explain why but it does although sometimes work can get on top of me and even crossdressing doesnt help and i'll work from home and not crossdress as i just have to get through the work i'm doing.
But if i've been stressed with work and other things and not dressed for a while i'm sure my wife notices how snappy i an get and at times I think i've suffered with depression and stress but not shared that with anyone not even my wife and at these times when i have found opportunity to crossdress it's helps even if briefly.
Inexplicable how crossdressing can help me relax unwind and de-stress... incidentally that's what me and the wife call it "De-Stressing"
Icecool, I'm a wife not a crossdresser, but I don't see why not. If it's something you've always done and enjoy doing, then that comfort would help with stress relief.
It's sort of ritualistic in a way, isn't it? Almost like the person who runs a bath and then quietly preps themselves with foot scrubs and creams or whatever. This puts them in the 'zone' and helps with stress. Does crossdressing put you in the 'zone'?
Linked to some earlier thoughts I had,,, Are you in the closet? If yes, like me, I wonder if the 'relief' you feel is 'just because' you got a chance to dress; rather than IT being the source of the relief. If you're open about it, or live alone so can dress without explaining to anyone, then clearly it's stress relief. I'm not sure which my answer is!
I can tell when he's stressed out
He starts working late and bringing work home and is visibly miserable
I then see him after a few hours Crossdressed like the weight has been lifted off his shoulders so this magic cure should be marketed.
Lol I will start an online chain in Male Stress cure methods and an on line shop selling womens clothes makeup and breastforms plus wigs haha
