yea i guess it is a partner thing yea it seems that way.

well i have donr that like i have said before not sure who to by=ut have said it on hear that i bring crossdressing up casual see what the view on it is. joining a yoga class doesn't sound like a bad idea i will look in to that.

i have a couple social media for Callie but its not totally out there and i only seem to be getting attention from guys that i don't want

ha ha you say that i have been in to two local gay bars and not seen any girls talking to the cd in there and none of the gay guys came near me ha ha apart from the one that goes to my local pub and that was to jokingly ask if i was stalking him.and i get that and i don't want to just be friends with them as just Callie but also my male self to id like to have a genuine friendship were on odd occasion i join her as Callie for a girls night/day. i guess im asking for a bit to much hay

There are definitely open minded women out there and Katie is right, it's absolutely more of a deal for a partner than just a friend. I have quite a large posse of gay men for friends but I hardly consider dating them. I guess sadly crossdressing has a similar response?

I get that you're trying to experience some of the female life for yourself and that's fine. But you really will have trouble finding friends if it's all about cross dressing, unless the other person is also a crossdresser. If it were me, I'd meet girls without even telling them straight off about the dressing, form a friendship, and if you trust them THEN you tell them. Maybe join a yoga class or something?? Women everywhere and always a couple of men from my experience.

The other alternative is to be completely out there, set up a profile for Callie, and then put her out there on social media. You will definitely find people then, many just trolls and curious type, but also maybe women who find you intriguing?

I hope you can figure this out. You might even have to pretend to be gay lol. But don't look in conventional places for an unconventional female friend. You need creative types etc. And remember to be a friend back. Even open minded types will quickly get bored if it is one sided. Women value their friendships and if you really want to experience that then you'll need to be more than a token male getting his thrill.

:) ha ha im not sure im ready for another relationship at the moment mostly looking for for friendship

i do that with every female i meet just casually bring it up and what there opinions on cross-dressers are most are negative

maybe it is just the area i live in

i couldn't agree more crossdressing is a grate way unwind, de-stress

most the sites i am on i have stated i am looking for friendship

If I was 19-20 and had to go through this all over again I'd initially be looking for a girlfriend I like with a good sense of humour and one I knew I could get along with and be romantic with etc etc sparing all the nitty gritty.

I'd probably test the waters about crossdessing in conversation or maybe if it felt right say to her I have a hobby which may freak you out but hear it through first before you go running for the hills as it's unusual but nothing really in the grand scheme of life in general.

I occasionally like to crossdress and I know it sounds weird and perverted hear me through first. It somehow helps me unwind, de-stress and I find it fun.

I do it occasionally maybe 10-12 times per year its just a fun thing nothing serious I know its a shock to hear as its not the norm but it really is just harmless fun..

She will either start firing questions or say I'll grab my coat and run.

Its a tricky one maybe advertising in a dating site dropping weird hobby occasional crossdressing fun into the description may attract a woman who might think that's cool but will that woman be the right sort of woman you want to attract as its not all about crossdressing is it.. The crossdressing part of us is important but unimportant in the grand scheme of our day to day lives

well i have been on tvchix for 2 years were i met divina and she said that i should look hear for help andalso been fetlife for 2 years ther is a local meet were i live for all types of fetish and ive been to a couple off them

honestly i didnt think such a site existed most sites i have tried you have to pay to be a member that i cant afford to do or its full of fakes and time wasters

yea that is what i try to do before agreeing to meet anyone be it as callie or my male self can never be sure who you are going to meet

As a confirmed closet dresser it's difficult for me to give a definitive answer, however, would suggest you try a few different approaches.

Firstly, as Sindy suggests, maybe it would be a good idea to talk with other crossdressers. I know that Davina belongs to TVChix which maybe a good place to meet and talk to other crossdressers. I know from a forum I have used in the past, crossdressers.com, that a few of the UK members get together for events, I think there is a Leeds First Friday night when loads of them get together for drinks and a chat (do an on-line search).

If you're looking for female friendship then maybe try a friendship site or even a local paper advert (I think they still do them - showing my age!). If you're willing to be up front and tell them you're a crossdressers and what you're looking for then I'm sure that there are some open minded women out there who'd be up for it. I think that women in general are not threatened by crossdressers and sometimes find them intriguing, it's wives who are not too happy!

If you're just looking for fashion advice then you could try a personal shopper. Debenhams do one in most stores and they are trained to deal with crossdressers. You can always approach them before hand so nobody is shocked!

I realise that the best option is close female friends but it's always going to be a matter of trust. If you're still in the closet then opening up to someone who betrays you could be damaging.

What ever you do if you're meeting somebody of the first time make sure that you're safe. If you can get to know them by email etc first to build up the trust then all etc better.

well i am on fetlife and tvchix. and i have mage alot of crossdressing friends and i get that females have female friends to do girl stuff and im not trying to disrupt that id just like to be part off it be one of the girls for a night. its not just to benefit me i want a genuine friendship all tho yes it would benefit me more but i would like to think i could give them a honest opinion from guys point of view kinda like a guy bestfriend apart from im not gay

all tho i do have crossdressing Friends i am looking for a real female freind i can let my inner girl out around

If it's entirely about crossdressing and not about meeting someone you like, then try the fetish sites? Or what about another crossdresser? Women tend to have female friends they do 'girl' stuff with (please don't use the word girly anymore...it's disturbing lol), and I expect you'll struggle to meet female friends if you're only interested in how they can accommodate your dressing. None of the men here would be with their partners if the relationship was based entirely around crossdressing.

Another crossdresser, however, would surely be perfect?
