I've read threads on other sites where t girls have been asked out on dates by 'straight' men. Just to be wined and dined - really. I don't think these guys expect just to wine and dine their date. I think they feel with a little bit of attention and flattery they'll get a bit more as Hannah alluded to.

I just couldn't do it. I'd still be a bloke in a dress and he'd be a bloke in drab. Too blokes out for dinner, one expecting something and the other not. I can imagine the attention and flattery would be nice but what happens at the end of the evening? A kiss, a hug or do you shake hands in a 'manly' way?

I don't think most crossdressers would feel they were forced to go out on dates with men because of the lack of attention from their wives and partners. I think if you go on one of those dates you pretty well know what to expect.

If you crossdress for sexual reasons then maybe a date would work but the majority of 'Davina' type crossdressers don't so why would you go? To heighten your experience as a 'woman'? If that means unwanted attention from a frisky man then maybe a date is right for you. It's sad to say but some men do feel that women are obliged to 'put out' when they've spent some money on them. I think that these same men might feel t girls are even easier.

I maybe completely wrong but I'm not about to test my theory!

Am I a little bit bisexual having sex with my husband dressed as a woman some will at yes I will say no he's a man dressed as a woman same sex so I'm still a heterosexual woman.

But I have chatted to many tgirls online with my husband who for years of chatting about dressing have been very straight but in the frustration of the wife not taking part and in lack of sex have ventured shall I say with other tgirls and become bisexual.

They always say they felt driven to it by rejection which is no excuse for infidelity but seems common.

My idea of being part of it is if he did go off with another tgirl then that's the end of that I've done all i can to accommodate his crossdressing even sex and if he wanted more than that then he's bisexual.

I think it's all a matter of where you draw the line. I read somewhere that there are very few people who are 100% heterosexual. If you look at another woman and think she's beautiful does that make you gay? If a guy looks at another guy in a dress and thinks he's attractive (knowing he's a dude) does that make him gay? I guess somewhere down the line you have to admit you are bi or gay but where is a matter of opinion. These guys obviously look at a hand job and oral as not being gay but may consider anything penatrative as being gay. That's their red line. Other people will have different red lines. It's really your definition of gay.

I have a friend who swears he can't tell if a guy is good looking or not. I think I can. I can see what women would find attractive about David Beckham but I woudln't want to do anything with him.! Am I 'gayer' than my friend for saying he is attractive?

As you say I think that these admirers find the femininty attractive. They're looking at a sexy woman. They don't look past the dress, heels, make up etc. They are very visual. I don't get the wine and dined stuff as then it becomes obvious in about 9 times out of 10 that you are having dinner with a dude in a dress. I can understand being 'fooled' but totally knowing is different and especially anything physical. Generally I think they'd be consider bisexual, maybe they're in denial

You on the otherhand find your husband attractive by looking through the dress, makeup and heels. You are looking at the person. Maybe it's because you know him better than anyone else that you can see through the exterior. If you'd seen him dressed as a woman without knowing him your reaction may have been different.

It was interesting to read some of the comments on the article in the Guardian I posted about the crossdresser. Most seemed non-plused and thought 'good for you'. There was one woman who was actively looking for a man who liked to dress as a woman. She's probbaly out there in a minority but people are all very different.
