Subject: The feminist crossdresser
I've read a number of post on other sites about how crossdressing make the poster feel more like a woman.
I can understand that a crossdresser might sympathise with women by crossdressing but in my personal opinion you can never understand what it is like to be a woman unless you commit full-time to living as a woman.
A crossdresser may dress as woman for a few hours before he changes back into his male mode with all the privileges that has.
I think a classic example is heels. I would venture to say that the majority of crossdressers have at least one pair of heels, after all who wouldn't as they are sexy. But as crossdressers we get the choice to wear heels and I know from experience that they start to get uncomfortable and hurt after a while. I read on the BBC the other day about female hotel workers who were objecting to having to have to wear heels to work. I guess there is nothing sexy about having to wear heels and I can't think of any items of male clothing that we are forced to wear that can be as painful.
I like to think that crossdressing has made me aware of some of the difficulties women have in their lives and the inequalities that still exist. I like to think that I'm a bit of a feminist but I'm sure that she feminists would take exception to a man joining their side.
I read a really interesting article which prompted this post which says it a lot more eloquently and covers many more facets than I could in such a short post. It's worth a read.

I think that the reason for introducing the quota is that it stops any bias during the selection process. If the people selecting for the job feel that women are inferior then they will not be selected, even if they are the best person for the job. It's turkeys voting for Christmas.
If you're a group of single white men and you want to maintain the status quo then you select a straight white man. That's where the inequality comes in. So the quota removes some of the bias within the system.
No kids or teenager in the Houses of Parliament because we'd all end up having to play Xbox and sit in our rooms for hours on end, leave our clothes all over the floor and expect our dinner on the table at 6.30! Lol
I think that some of the sexual assaults are due to an entitlement that some men think they have over women as the 'weaker' sex. Goes back to the caveman days.
The gender pay gap does exist and there is plenty of research to prove it. Some industries are better than others and maybe your industry is one of the good ones where everyone is valued equally.
I agree that some people / groups are more easily offended than others but when Donald Trump can get elected, after all he said, by what was ostensibly the white straight male vote then I don't think we (white straight male) need to march to get a voice.
