So having left my Tits in the same bag as my heels and one heel puncturing one of my fab DD breasts I could do with a new set just to be pedantic as i don't like my left tit with a plaster on it and have seen these for under £20 and I'm thinking i drop to a C cup ..
Whilst at it i need a better wig for going out and thought a shoulder length better than longer length so may see what Esme thinks of the wig below even if its £10 to see the style then maye get a better one for "if we went out again in public"
I also (Sorry Esme) pinched some of her magic colour concealer thing to try which is fab and tried a bit of her powder with a brush application instead of a pad and gave better results so wouldn't mind these too... all in all i bet that would rock up £50 which I hate spending on Davina oh and I need some foundation too and maybe some new lippy...
Nope need to have a look on line with Esme for tits and a shorter wig for my Birthday
Ordered your new wig n tits yet Davina lol
You can get some good makeup pretty cheap especially if you're only dressing at home but going out maybe more expensive makeup is better and agree on the wig to go out need a more expensive one i got him one for £75 in a sale on an online wig store, however you can get some good use out of cheap wigs if just using at home or when brand new and styled you wear it out in public but they dont last long.
Go on Davina treat yourself if you're looking to go out again you want to look the part hunnie

Makeup-wise, I have a lot of MAC. However, I'm really loving the Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes. They're complete solutions, a palette of colours that are carefully chosen to blend perfectly, but (importantly) with step-by-step instructions for several fab looks. This is buying expertise, not just cosmetics alone.
Oh, and don't forget brushes. Good brushes make a big difference. The MAC 217 blending brush has a reputation for a reason; when I started using it my eye shadow looks immediately improved dramatically. Again, its an investment, not an expense (you can otherwise waste an awful lot of makeup practicing fruitlessly).
You can spend forever trying to perfect a look, but failing simply because your tools are the limiting factor. (I wish I'd learnt this much earlier.)
I agree with Katie about a minimum spend of £150 on a wig. Especially if going public. A good wig is an investment not an expense.
Details such as ombre colouring, monofilaments, lace frontage, good fit adjustments and breathability make all the difference. Not just to how it looks, but also how it feels.
Don't kid yourself; most wigs are easy to spot, especially in daylight. So choose carefully. Not just for the quality of wig, but also how well it fits and suits the face. On nights out, I've had cis girls up close stroking my wig and insisting that its real hair and not a wig. Its worth it for that alone. :)
However, I'd be very reluctant to spend that amount unless I had tried it on first before buying.
Not yet will do soon

Couldn't agree more with Katie. Look for sales/clearances in online wig stores, there are some real bargains out there. Cheap wigs look cheap in the real world- it's not just about how other people see you and what it looks like, its how it makes you feel about yourself. It's not just about passing in the real world -if you go out there - it's about not sticking out. One thing about you that sticks out, like height (for example), you might get away with, two you're starting to push it as people with register something unusual more easily.
I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I've tried wigs in my non natural colour - and it just doesn't work!

Makeup maybe spending a bit extra as it lasts me a year or more but £150 for a wig 😮 no way i' spend that much that's like a decade of Davinas budget 😂
I think you get what you pay for. If you have any ambition to go out in public don't get a cheap wig, it will stand out a mile. I've seem more expensive wigs in a fancy dress shop! I'd say you need to start at £150 and go up to get something that doesn't look like a wig.
Same with make up. I went to these guys for my makeover and they don't rip you off. MAC is the same price as on the high street which is a good indicator they're not trying to fleece crossdressers https://translife.uk/product-category/crossdressing-makeup/. I used the Kryolan TV (Television not transvestite lol) paint stick which hides a lot! https://translife.uk/product/kryolan-tv-paint-stick/
If you want to feel your best then you need to spend the money. I always feel better in an expensive, well cut suit than a cheap off the peg one. It will also last longer without losing it's shape so better value in the long run. I think the same runs true for women's clothes. Well cut and expensive look better on and will hide a multitude of sins!
