Went to two Town centres yesterday and two things stood out, three actually or maybe 4.
1) Lots of women throw on jeans, flats and a coat and off they go no makeup no effort
2) Some women dress a bit classier and do make an effort with makeup even for shopping
3) Younger women exiting teens to mid 20s go OTT with makeup and have too dark a shade of Foundation
4) Mens wear is bland and I have no idea where i'll shop in the future for mens clothing
Looking at 2 and 3 I see here something that us T Girls go through in wanting to always make an effort if we dress never jeans flats and no makeup we like to look the part and make an effort with hosiery and makeup etc and 3 we go through this trying different makeup looks and techniques until we find the one that suits us.. I've been too orange or too dark too but now know this and go for a lighter tone of foundation and powder to get the right blend with hilight and contour and a bit of blush but there's another mistake some women i saw making and Esme commented on one "Too much blusher"
Women with a lot more time to practise and years to practise makeup than us you'd think would have sussed the war paint by now... ??
I dressed casual one day in jeggins, ankle boots and a blouse, full makeup and wig and my wife came home from work.. I said is this the sort of thing you think i should wear out in public to pass and she looked a bit shocked and said yes normal every day things.
When she went back to work she said she felt a little freaked out used to seeing me in a dress i was dressed casual with casual makeup and wig.. i didn't think oh damn i shocked her i thought "Yes" i shocked her as i looked every day outside in muggle world passable lol
I would like to explore the casual look more but never got the time and love dresses and skirts and my legs encased in tights or stockings,
