I have a question that I'm sure I've asked before but can't recall.
Why do you think there is so much discussion on crossdressing sites about actually turning into women? Many even discuss an increasing desire to have real breasts, long nails etc. In the same sentence, they'll also mention that they don't want to transition and like being a guy. I find this very confusing and can't help wondering if this isn't a progressive 'condition', and maybe even a mental disorder.
I also wonder if crossdressing isn't like an addiction. Does it have addictive properties? Do you sometimes feel controlled rather than in control of the compulsion?
It's these internet discussions that sway my mind on whether I think crossdressing is healthy and harmless. I don't think people ordering dodgy hormones online to grow boobs, or missing work hours and family time to obsess over clothing and fantasise about being female, is healthy behavior at all. Yet, it also doesn't seem that uncommon. Will you guys be honest here, and tell me the truth that you've never had these thoughts? Or have you?
If you're not transsexual, then seriously, wtf is this all about??
I concur self exploration would be undertaken I mean you have to know how it all works right.

OMG this would be a kid in a sweet shop if by magic they could wake up and be a man or a woman .
I imagine fist transformation they wouldn't leave the house with mens dirty minds exploring their transformed female body lol

I certainly don’t want breasts o can grow my nails quite quickly but not a good look on blokes... neither is man boobs lol.
At the end of the day we’re men first and foremost that’s our role that’s who we are and have no desire to be women just an urge to transform every now and then.
No fantasy or condition about wanting to enhance our bodies (other than dieting) to look more fem when dressed.

I have no desire to have any 'extra' that might affect my male life. I always cut my nails if they get to long, my hair is short and I'd hate to think I'd wake up with male boobs. Body hair is a different matter but we've been over that one.
I have often wondered what it would be like to be a real woman for a day but no desire to make it permananent. I even wondered what it'd be like to be a dog or cat for a day but I'm not a furry! BTW if I was a real woman for the day I'd need to be a lesbian but then that's my male brian working.
I was watching a comedy programme and the female comdian asked a couple of her friends what they'd do if they woke up in the morning as a man. One replied that the first thing she'd do is have a wank. The other said she get all the odd jobs done around the house! People do wonder these things form time to time but I'm not sure it's always a fanatsy.
When you consider how many crossdressers there are in the world and how many actually post their fantasisies about being having boobs etc then it really is an insignificant percentage. There are always going to be people that take things to extremes and buying hormones on the internet has to be a fools game. Without the proper medical help nobody should attempt to do anything about permanently changing their bodies.
We all know that the vocal minority can tar the silent majority with the same brush.

Em, would he tell you the truth though if it was a fantasy, do you think? I haven't asked my husband this question as I'm sure he'd deny even if he was thinking this stuff. He's a rubbish communicator but expert liar.
It's definitely a common internet theme. You can't read any support forum without endless threads about turning magically into women, and what woman would they be if they could, and how many want real boobs. Even if this is all just fantasy, it points a big spotlight on the train of thought that can go along with crossdressing. It's clearly not just about relaxation and dress up if the mental mind games that accompany it involve identity and sexuality.
Oh, and the best yet was reading some guy call himself a 'male lesbian'. Omg, seriously if he said that to any of my actual lesbian friends I believe he'd have his head knocked off. Male lesbian? Talk about delusional - men thinking because they fantasise about being a woman that somehow makes them a lesbian. No, you have a penis, so that makes you a sexist dick.
Sorry for the rant, but that really annoyed me on behalf of lesbians everywhere!
I don't know what Davina and Katie think on this issue or even if they'd be honest about their fantasies. I'd like to hear from a crossdresser who does have these thoughts and ask what it's about. If you don't want to be a woman and you like being a guy, then how does this imagery of actually being a woman not totally f&@k with your mind??
I don't think this is something Davina and Katie and co think about? I just asked my other half and he said WTF? No!
He's happy just being able to crossdress but doesn't want any of the above.
A few hours of escapism then back to man mode simple as that.

And when I say mental disorder, I mean like a body dysmorphic type thing where people become obsessed with changing some perceived thing wrong with them. Like anorexics, or those people who obsess about removing a leg because they think they're an amputee or whatever. Escalating crossdressing thoughts do seem rather similiar...
